my work

I'm a multimedia journalist, with experience in print, digital, audio, video, photo, and social media. Over the years, I've had the privilege to work in several newsrooms in various roles. I worked as the Assistant Opinions editor in The Retriever Weekly, a student-led weekly newspaper from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (go Retrievers!).

Shortly after graduation, I was the content intern, and then an associate producer for The Kojo Nnamdi Show, a live public radio show covering local events and issues in the Washington D.C. metro area. After that, I moved to Los Angeles, working as an associate producer for Marketplace, a public radio show covering business and the economy.

Now, I've moved to Cleveland, and joined Ideastream Public Media, working as a producer in the engaged journalism department, connecting communities to newsrooms. I also produce a comedy podcast with some friends called The Lord Farsquad Podcast, where three lifelong friends work through growing up in your twenties.
