Richard Cunningham is a writer, journalist and digital storyteller based in Cleveland.

Richard is an empathetic and dedicated journalist, who believes in community engagement and solutions journalism. For the last five years, he has worked as a public media journalist, creating intimate and engaging audio stories. He enjoys connecting audiences to the world around them through personal stories.

Richard works as an engagement producer at Ideastream Public Media. He holds an MA in journalism from the University of Missouri, and a BA in Media & Communication Studies from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
